How Fairbanks Sheds Came To Be

At the age of 14, I helped my dad build a shed. Little did I know, this event would shape the course of my life. When deciding what I wanted to do at the age of 17, I remembered how much I enjoyed building that shed. I remembered being so impressed that a small pile of wood and some nails could be turned into a building, and that’s when I decided to become a carpenter. A few years later, my mom gave me the idea to start my own business. The general premise of the business would be to deliver fully built sheds to the customer. While I didn’t jump at the idea right away, I dreamed about this business venture for the next twenty years. I continued working as a carpenter in the Fairbanks area and spent a few years working for the Carpenter’s Union in Seattle, WA. During that time, I built countless schools, houses, hotels, and several other buildings. Finally, with a loving push from my girlfriend (now wife) and a helping hand from my brother, I decided it was time to take the idea my mom had planted and make it a reality.
